My hourly fee covers my travel (Perth metro only), taking the photographs, editing images and uploading online.

Your look and costumes are sorted by you.  I can make suggestions for hair and make-up however it is your responsibility to have someone on hand to help with costume changes, hair and make-up.

For weddings, I require a 50% deposit (non-refundable) upon booking.  Full payment is required 3 weeks prior to shooting.

For any other casual or studio shoot, payment prior, or on the day is appreciated.

Once your images have been edited, they’ll be uploaded to my online gallery which you can access via my website.  You will receive a secure link to view all images.  Once payment is received, you will receive a login and password to download your images.

I provide all approved images in high resolution for download.  The number of images provided depends on the style of shoot.  On average for every hour, I usually provide 25 – 50 approved images. 

If you cancel a wedding booking, your deposit will be refunded if cancellation is confirmed 8 weeks prior to the event.  Outside of these dates, you will not receive a refund.  Alternatively, you are able to re-schedule your shoot. 

Please give plenty of notice if you no longer want to go ahead with any other shoot.  If your shoot requires a studio booking, I require 48 hours-notice to cancel.  Any studio booking costs incurred as a result of a ‘no-show’ will be transferred to the client.

I usually use images for promotion.  If you do not want your images used in this manner please let me know.

Edited photographs will be available within 2 weeks (14 days) of the photo shoot.

Early morning or late afternoon is the best time of day to take photographs.  Mid-day sunlight is harsh and makes it difficult to get great shots.

Yes!  An additional 25% will be charged for public holidays.

Sharon Burgess Photography owns the copyright to all images. If you or others would like to use the images for commercial purposes, please refer their inquiry to me.

It all depends on the kind of shoot we are doing.  If it’s a wedding or engagement I will meet with you closer to the day, to discuss your plans, expectations and photography needs to ensure I get the brief right.  We can do that online or in person, whichever suits.  For casual shoots, I usually don’t need to meet you in person prior to the shoot, but I will chat with you online or on the phone to make sure I understand your style and expectations.
